Rose before six. Read before Sermon
in Pictote. the Rev. Mr Green
at eleven preached a Sermon on the
Excellence of Gods Law, & the Happin-
ess of all those who walk in it.
P.M. He preached another on the
Saints [?]. After Sermon, I
walked down to my Study, at Mr
Greens, & spect the Remain-
der of the Day in Reading Dr. Dod-
ridge's Paraphrase. Spent
the Evening in Meditating on the
wonderful Goodness of the God who
rules in Heaven, that he should
vouchsafe to take Knowledge of us,
who are Sinners before him & empha
-tically Worms of the Earth, But
thus boundless in his Mercy!
