grow fearful when alone. Consider,
I pray you, dearest of Girls, that
heavenly Angels watch you; your
own guardien Genuis also will
well protect you----I need not have
mentioned these; Your own matchless
Person will always well secure you
from Insults----"You are not
handsome, Laura, nor is yours a
Face that will please the tenth Part
of your Beholders----But you are
something more, for I [sruple?] not to tell
you, I never saw so intelligent, so ani-
-mated, so good a Countenance; nor ever
was there, nor will there be, that Man of
