the Country.
I was surprised to hear that
my Acquaintances in this
Province can all whenever they
see me "Wish me Happiness,"
in my late Alliance. Once
every Week orderly the Public
Papers come to these Parts, so
thirsty are the Inhabitants
of the current Intelligence.
Early on Monday the 20th
I set out for Stephensburgh,
the Day moderate, yesterday
in the morning fell a small
snow, it is all gone, & the Day
is fine. Cap't Holms, his Fami-
ly & Neighborhood, are in Health
Here I seem at Home; in the
Captain's Office I have Room
