a Youth this evening.
Sir How often are we young
people, animated with the sight of any
charming earthly object; even in such
a degree, very often, as to fall infinite-
-ly in love with it; all our heart and
soul is wrapt up in the lovely object
in view. We languish, we pursue
it with earnestness; and perhaps all
the while, it slights us and despises
our esteem. A very poor return
I confess. Pity we are so imposed
on by insignificants; it is empty
delusion, and divided particles; a
ficticious air. Heaven is the true
place for genuine love, on Earth
