Dear Sir
It is not without the
greatest pleasure, that I find my very
grand mistake about your coldness to
me, concerning our friendship break-
-ing up; I must confess that my eyes
have been blinded hitherto, and what
I have taken as faults I perceive to
be acts of friendship, except your not
coming to see me, and not writing,
which I must tell you has gone a great
ways with me; for you know that
I have never been behind hand,
especially about these two particu-
-lars and as you desired I would
