April the 7th. 1766.
As the word of God is an infinite
blessing, and privaledge unto us, and
we ought to make it the rule of all
our conduct; and as far as I know my-
-self, I do desire to be directed and govern-
-ed by this excellent rule, and standard,
as it is write Psalm 33d. 9th. "It is upright
Psalm 119th & 137th. " It is very pure, there-
fore to be loved." Psalm 199th. & __th
"It is righteous, and very faithfull."
Psalm 119th. & 138th. "They are bless'd
that delight mightily in his command-
-ments." Psalm 112th &1st. "It is com-
-manded for our good, and our chil-
-dren after us, that we may pro-
-long our days upon the earth."
