Yesterday, in a private lonely man-
ner, at nine in the morning, were
married Mr. Patterson & Miss Amy Ew-

ing.
I wish them from my heart
a long, unbroken, & strong friendship
for each other, & mutual, unmiseed
happiness. After breakfast according
to a previous appointment, I rode to
